Discada Norteña with Moikaz Sazón Supremo

An irresistible blend of meats and flavors in the style of northern Mexico

Ingredients:

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 250 g chorizo
  • 200 g diced bacon
  • 200 g cubed ham
  • 200 g sliced sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sliced jalapeño or serrano peppers (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons of Moikaz Sazón Supremo
  • 1/2 cup beer (optional)
  • Vegetable oil to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat the disc: Add a little oil and start by cooking the bacon until crispy.
  2. Add the chorizo and ground beef: Cook well until they release their juices.
  3. Incorporate ham and sausage: Fry for a few more minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Add vegetables: Add onion, garlic, tomato, and peppers. Cook until soft.
  5. Season: Sprinkle with Moikaz Sazón Supremo and mix everything very well.
  6. Finish: Add the beer, cover the disc, and let it cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve: Accompany with flour tortillas, guacamole, and salsa to taste.

Moikaz Tip:

This discada can also be made in a large pan or griddle. Ideal for taco parties and gatherings with authentic northern flavor.
